AGI #GeoCom17 Annual Conference

Join us at the annual AGI #GeoCom conference for a day of industry insights, networking and learning from influential speakers from the NFU, Office of National Statistics and the editor of Techworld.

The #GeoCom conference, is being held at the impressive Royal Geographical Society in Kensington, London and will focus on the theme 'Smart Geospatial'.

This years agenda, has been divided into morning and afternoon sessions and provides delegates with an opportunity to hear from influential speakers on the key topics influencing the geospatial industry. These talks will include -

  • Talking Technology – what’s driving change, why are we all talking about ‘Smart’ technology and more-connected data? We’ll be looking at influences and exploring what’s shaping the need for, delivery of, and use of geospatial...
  • Perpetual Policies– staying ahead, being competitive, responding to change. Our speakers will be giving us real world examples of policy changes that impact our industry, and others...
  • Lightning Talks - YOUR opportunity to share ideas – short, insightful, a chance for you to impress with your views on the game-changing geo-technology we may be seeing soon.We're looking for 7 min talks on all things geospatial, what problems do you see ahead? How can we innovate to solve them? Or simply just, what are you seeing and doing in geospatial that's new and exciting?
  • Future-proofing – it’s clear the future will be focused heavily on connectivity – on Smart Geospatial – so what should we all be doing today? This is the session from which we'll be encouraging your feedback - what will you take away from #GeoCom17?!
