Mon 22nd May 2017

We’re delighted to announce that Azimap, has been reappointed by the Crown Commercial Service to supply cloud-based service to the UK public sector under the G-Cloud 9 framework.

The G-Cloud 9 framework, was open to organisations who provide cloud based services, within the following lots -

  • hosting, for example content delivery networks or load balancing services
  • software, for example accounting tools or customer service management software
  • support, for example migration services or ongoing support

The framework offers significant opportunities for Azimap within the public sector as it removes barriers for suppliers to do business within the public sector. It also eliminates the need for organisation to individually research and into procurement contracts with technology vendors.

The G-Cloud 9 framework attracted 2,856 successful applications an increase of 10% from previous iteration of which we’re delighted to retain our place on this framework following our successful G-Cloud 8 application.

Ciara McQuillan explains

“Securing our place on the G-Cloud 9 framework agreement, reaffirms our commitment and dedication to the continuous development of Azimap to meet the demands of both public and private sector organisation. This award cements the companies and team dedication to developing an innovate, flexible and scalable Cloud-based GIS, based on open source principles and continuing the delivery of auxiliary location based services”
