Azimap Remote Data Capture App Is Coming

Today we’re delighted to announce the Azimap remote data capture app will be launching Autumn 2017.

The remote data capture app will be available from both the iOS and Android stores and will offer GIS professionals with the tools to capture information remotely from any compatible mobile or tablet device. In addition, the app can be used alongside handheld computers with integrated GNSS receivers such as Trimble or Leica to ensure location accuracy of information being captured in the field. Finally users will also be able to create custom form templates which will be published dynamically to the app allowing for unlimited capture use cases.

Using the app remote workers, can quickly capture, edit and display location information as a point, line or polygon with or without internet connection. Information can be published to a new or an existing layer in real-time or alternatively checked-in at a later stage.
