We're delighted to announce that Azimap has been reappointed by the Crown Commercial Service to supply a cloud-based service to the UK public sector under theĀ G-Cloud 9 framework.
The G-Cloud 9 framework was open to organisations that provide cloud-based services, within the following lots:
Hosting, for example, content delivery networks or load balancing services
Software, for example, accounting tools or customer service management software
Support, for example, migration services or ongoing support
The framework offers significant opportunities for Azimap within the public sector as it removes barriers for suppliers to do business within the public sector. It also eliminates the need for organisations to research and enter into procurement contracts with technology vendors individually.
The G-Cloud 9 framework attracted 2,856 successful applications, a 10% increase from the previous iteration, of which we're delighted to retain our place following our successful G-Cloud 8 application.
David McQuillan, Managing Director, explains:
"Securing our place on the G-Cloud 9 framework agreement reaffirms our commitment and dedication to the continuous development of Azimap to meet the demands of both public and private sector organisations. This award cements the company's and team's dedication to developing an innovative, flexible and scalable Cloud-based GIS, based on open source principles and continuing the delivery of auxiliary location-based services."
