Raster Support
A significant, feature enhancement for our existing and potential customers is Raster support. Available across all plans, Raster will empower our customers to visualise their aerial photographs, imagery from satellites, digital pictures or even scanned maps on interactive web maps. This service will be of significant benefit to our enterprise customers due to their plan not being limited to data allowance.
Point Clustering
If your layer contains thousands of attributes, it is not the best visual representation to have your map displaying all features on a map. To improve user experience and reporting, we are delighted to announce that the upcoming release will enable our customers to create a custom point cluster layer. The new point clustering feature will enable customers across all plans, to create cluster points based on a count which will automatically adjust based on the map zoom level.
Enhanced Sharing Capabilities
Being able to share data quickly and efficiently between team members and departments is vital to improve cross functional collaboration and efficiency with any organisation. It is due to this requirement that the upcoming release will include enhanced sharing capabilities via extended roles and increased security. However, this feature will only be available for our enterprise customers.
Publish and Share data via WMS
Being able to publish and share data via WMS is essential to ensuring our customer remain compliant and adhere to strict industry standards. This enhancement which is available to enterprise only customers will ensure the security and integrity of the data across the web.
In addition to the above features, the upcoming release will include optimisation to the Azimap core to improve speed and user experience.
Product availability
During the release window, some features of functionality may become unavailable. To ensure minimal interruption of services we aim to schedule releases out of hours. However, for real-time service announcements connect with Azimap on twitter, facebook and LinkedIn.
